Class Descriptions

Hatha (Beginner to Intermediate):
Unwind your mind, all the while holding poses, strengthening and stretching away tension to access inner peace. Aligning your body, mind and spirit, with renewed calm and ease.

Vinyasa (Intermediate):
Each pose moves fluidly and dynamically into the next pose, linking the breath with the movement. Vigorous sequences can be expected. These classes are creative, unique and change from class to class. Leaving you feel grounded and invigorated!

Restorative (All levels):
Savor the sweet relaxation of restorative yoga. Holding, soothing, quieting poses for a length of time, to bring relief from stress, back pain, and high blood pressure. All the while stilling the mind.

Ashtanga (Intermediate):
Ashtanga Yoga is the original flow practice that all other vinyasa and power yoga variants derive from. In a first series ashtanga class we guide you through poses of the traditional practice, also known as the ashtanga primary series. It's fast paced (traditionally 5 breaths per pose), fun and very challenging for all levels.

Baby and Me
Strengthen, stretch and tone while bonding with your new baby. Get set for a fun-loving experience that offers modifications to optimize individual results. And Dads you're always welcome to join too!

Stiff Guy Yoga
This class focuses on the fundamental poses of the practice, with emphasis on alignment, breath, building strength and increasing flexibility. So get ready to not only loosen up your body but your mind as well.

Prenatal Yoga
This class offers gentle, safe movements and stretches that are designed to strengthen and open the body, allowing you to meet the challenges and transformations of pregnancy with confidence and calm. Postures are presented with variations appropriate for all stages of pregnancy. Prenatal yoga classes allow you to share your experiences in a safe and supportive environment providing a sense of community and friendship.

Yoga Fundamentals (Beginner to Intermediate):This class introduces new and continuing students to the principles of alignment, breath work, primary poses, variations and foundational basics including yoga philosophy. Emphasis will be on standing and seated poses to improve overall strength and flexibility.

Therapeutic Yoga (Beginner to Intermediate) Therapeutic Yoga is a branch of Yoga which is a valuable healing art designed to increase health and happiness while safely working with the body in a restful and rejuvenating way. Coupled with massage, this hands-on experience is a recipe to keep the various systems of the body in balance and harmony.

Power Yoga (Intermediate):
This vigorous Ashtanga style flow practice links poses together in sun-salutation inspired sequences to develop greater strength, endurance and meditative focus. Each week we'll work with different sequences drawn from the Ashtanga series. Join us for a balanced asana program to get the kinks out and have you leave feeling recharged and refreshed.
