Named after the founder of Terrace on land that was donated for just this purpose in 1911, the George Little Park is located in the heart of downtown Terrace and is home to the Jim Ryan Bandshell, public library/art gallery building, small playground and washroom facilities. There is public parking at the west end and the weekly Farmer’s Market is just across the road
A wonderful place to have a picnic or just relax before going back to work, there are picnic tables or just a blanket on the grass.

Bert’s Delicatessen is just across from the Public Library and offers some of the most generous sandwiches in town.
Site of the annual ‘Concerts in the Park’ during our Riverboat Days celebrations (end of July – beginning of August)
Site of annual Aboriginal Days celebrations (June)

Jim Ryan Bandshell was named after the man who got our very active community band up and running and is the site of many activities. Situated in such a way that music seems to bounce off the upper benches in town, it has been known for local residents of the horseshoe area to sit in their back yards and listen to the music. Check with Parks & Rec Dept. (250-615-3000) for rental of the bandshell.
