Snowmobiling - Snowshoeing - Skating
-
From the stunning views of Big Cedar Trail’s high alpine to the 16.5 km of trails in the Sterling Mountain range, snowmobilers are in their glory when conditions are right. Explore 80 km (50 mi) of groomed routes diligently maintained by the locals. Sled seven mountain ranges all within an hour’s drive of Terrace. Beginners to experts will love the alpine terrain that ranges from 300 to 1,680 m (1,000 - 5,500 ft).
Re-define your sled experience and explore the wilderness of the northwest’s incredible peaks.
If snowshoeing is more your speed, check out Ferry Island or the Terrace Mountain Trails for great views and a heart thumping cardio workout.
Grab your touques, we’re going ice skating! Lakelse Lake is the picture perfect setting to practice your double lutz. For indoor skating visit the Terrace Arena.
